The Journey, Discipline, and Passion Shaping Alessandra’s Artistic Path

Alessandra Fox is a multidisciplinary performer whose vibrant artistry, magnetic stage  presence, and genuine love of storytelling are shaping a journey across dance, acting, singing,  modeling, and entertainment. Naturally expressive and deeply curious, Alessandra is drawn to  the places where movement, music, character, and emotion intersect. Whether performing on  stage, working in front of the camera, walking a runway, or collaborating on a creative project,  she brings intention, authenticity, and an unmistakable joy for performing. 

Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, and now based in Scottsdale, Arizona, thirteen-year old Alessandra is entering her ninth competitive dance season as a member of the Pre Professional and Elite Competitive Companies at Master Ballet Academy, where she trains  more than 30 hours each week. Her training encompasses ballet, contemporary, jazz, musical  theatre, ballroom, partnering, improvisation, acrobatics and tumbling, tap, hip hop, and character.  While she embraces the individuality and challenge of every discipline, jazz has become a  particular passion—giving her a space to combine athleticism, musicality, precision, personality,  and the uninhibited performance quality that comes naturally to her. 

At age ten, Alessandra made the intentional decision to pursue dance pre-professionally and  transitioned to homeschooling, creating the time and flexibility to fully invest in her training and  artistic development. Competition became an important foundation for that journey, challenging  her to develop not only exceptional technique, but also discipline, resilience, musicality,  performance instincts, and the confidence to step into increasingly professional environments.  Her competitive career has earned her more than 50 technical, entertainment, artistry, and  title awards and scholarships, including two national solo championships. Among her  distinctions are being named a Tremaine National Dancer of the Year Finalist, receiving the  Pre-Teen MVP Award at Tremaine Dance Convention, and earning Derek Hough’s Rising  Star Award at Ovation Dance Convention. 

As her training and experience have grown, Alessandra has continued to expand beyond the  competitive studio environment while remaining deeply rooted in the discipline that brought her  to where she is today. She is also a member of the Tremaine Performance Company, an  experience that has expanded her world into a community of dancers, respected industry faculty,  and working professionals. Through Tremaine, Alessandra continues to develop not only as a  performer, but also as a young artist learning the value of relationships, collaboration, and  connection within the professional dance community. 

Alessandra is mentored by Menina Fortunato, Tiffany Maher, and Avery Gay, whose  guidance continues to shape both her artistry and her understanding of the professional world.  Her training and industry experiences have introduced her to a wide range of respected artists  and educators, including Paul Becker, Kalani Goldman, Christina “Pasty” Grady, JoJo  Siwa, Lacey Schwimmer, Victoria Lambert, and Curt Hansen, as well as renowned training  institutions including Steps on Broadway, Broadway Dance Center, Millennium Dance  Complex, Playground LA, and CLI Conservatory. Through the Business of Dance mentorship  community, Alessandra has had the opportunity to learn directly from legendary choreographers  Tina Landon and Travis Payne, including a private class in which they taught their iconic  choreography from Michael and Janet Jackson’s “Scream” music video. She was also featured as a guest on the Business of Dance podcast alongside Landon and Payne, where she engaged with  them in conversation and asked a question of her own during the filming of their interview.

As Alessandra's world continues to expand, so does her love for the creative process itself. She  has performed in professional productions and embraced opportunities that allow her to explore  the relationship between movement, music, character, and storytelling. She was selected as a  Dancer Against Cancer Icon, performing at the Industry Dance Awards at the Hollywood  Avalon and Gala of the Stars at the Beverly Hilton, and portrayed Grumpy in Phoenix Ballet’s  production of Snow White. Her on-camera work includes dancing in Lola Nelms’ music video  for “I Got This Feelin’” and appearing in a Tyla concept video choreographed by Kanec and  created with Enola Bedard. She also starred in the Mannequin short-film concept video  choreographed and directed by Paul Becker, a creative project that has since evolved into her  first original single “Alive Like This,” produced by George Kosturos. Experiences like these  have fueled Alessandra’s desire not simply to perform what others create, but to understand and  contribute to the creative process itself. 

Beyond the stage and screen, Alessandra has discovered another powerful form of storytelling  through fashion and imagery. As a dance and fashion model, she brings the same expressive  quality, movement awareness, and confidence to the camera and runway that define her stage  presence. Her experience includes editorial and brand collaborations as well as New York  Fashion Week, where she has walked for designers including Mila Hoffman Couture, Willow  Bean, and Studio 8. Working across dance, fashion, photography, and film has strengthened her  ability to communicate through movement and image while continuing to shape her  understanding of herself as an artist. 

Behind all of these experiences is a young artist who is ambitious without losing her sense of  wonder and authenticity. Alessandra is driven by the desire to keep learning, to say yes to  challenges that stretch her, and to discover what becomes possible when discipline meets  imagination. She loves the process of becoming—not only mastering a skill but finding the  artistry within it. 

Her ultimate goal is to build a career that allows her to move fluidly between Broadway, film,  television, live entertainment, music, fashion, and commercial performance, while  continuing to grow as a singer, actor, dancer, model, and storyteller. More than simply pursuing  a career in entertainment, Alessandra hopes to become the kind of complete artist who can walk  into any creative space with something meaningful to contribute. 

With her versatility, work ethic, emotional intelligence, and unmistakable joy for performing,  Alessandra is steadily discovering her own voice as an artist—and learning that the most exciting  part of the journey may not be knowing exactly where it will lead, but becoming ready for every  opportunity along the way.
